Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy
More than 50 Rotarians and Rotaractors distributed snacks and school supplies to over 50 children during this year’s celebration of the Rotary New Year at the St. Gerald Pastoral Center in Tacloban City.
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban, one of the host clubs, also connected with the children through fun and interactive games—fostering joy and building trust among the youth participants.
This affirms Rotary’s commitment to ensuring that children have free access to quality education by providing essential school supplies and educational resources, while also engaging them in meaningful activities that nurture learning and social interaction.
